This option can be used if a domain is only to be installed in the web hosting without initiating the registration or transfer. If this option is selected, any domain can then be added to the web hosting via the “Install” button.
At least 1 domain must be selected in order to proceed with the order. Several domains can be ordered simultaneously for installation, registration and/or transfer.
This function is particularly useful in the following situations:
- The domain is to be registered/transferred at a later date (e.g. web hosting test, migration).
- The domain is obtained via an external registrar (e.g. domain extension not available at hosttech).
Please note that you must be the owner (registrant) of the selected domain in order to make the website installed on the web hosting accessible on the Internet under the domain name.
It is therefore recommended that new projects register the selected domain directly.
