Google now only provides a certain quota of views for embedding its maps on websites. If this quota is exceeded, an error message is displayed instead of the Google Map.
You can remedy this by signing up to the Google Maps service yourself and requesting your own API key. This can then be stored in your account. Thus you, respectively your customers, a significantly higher contingent available, than that which is included by default.
API key guide
- In the first step, log in to the Google Maps platform . This requires a Google account, with which you must log in. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one for free.
- Follow the setup and activation process by providing the necessary customer data and payment information.
- The last step is to enable the Google Maps platform so that the API key is created and displayed.
- Send the API key via ticket system to our customer service, which will initiate everything else.
