A domain termination and transfer to an external provider is often not absolutely necessary. In order to continue to benefit from the low domain prices and our services, you can continue to leave the domain with us. By adjusting the so-called name server entries or DNS settings, the domain can be easily connected to your external provider.
Request the relevant settings from them and store them via the domain center of your myhosttech customer center (Domains > Domain center > Details).
If you still want to transfer the domain, your new provider will need an auth or transfer code. After cancellation of the domain, this will be sent to the e-mail address stored in the customer account together with the cancellation confirmation. To do this, proceed as follows:
Log into your myhosttech customer center and select “Domains” > “Domaincenter”. Click on “Details” for the relevant domain and then on “Cancel Domain / AuthCode”.
Alternatively, you can also send us a signed letter of termination by post or email (scan/photo).
