How can I restart my server?

Root Server

Your server is connected to a resetter. You can control this at any time via the myhosttech customer center and thus carry out a cold start of your server (like the reset switch on a PC).

You get to the function by clicking on “Servercenter” at the top of the myhosttech customer center. In the settings of your server you will then find the option “Resert Server” at the top.

After the reset function has been triggered, it can take a few minutes before your server can be reached again, especially if it performs a hard disk check during boot (up to 30 minutes).

If your server is managed by us, then this function is not available to you. Plan the restart with us by contacting our technical customer service via the myhosttech customer center via the ticket system.

Premium+ Server

The Premium+ servers are equipped with IPMI as standard and are restarted via this.
