What can the individual tools do?
Domain Reselling
You can use this module to manage your domains directly in WHMCS instead of in the hosttech tool. DNS administration, name server adjustments, whois data, transfers, registrations, etc. are all possible via WHMCS. You do not need the DNS module in addition.
Once you have installed the module, you can link it via the settings:
- Settings
- Products
- Domain registrars
- choose hosttech
- activate
- Enter username and password (IMPORTANT: these are domain reselling access data)
- Enter DNS ApiToken (you can find this under myhosttech.eu, DNS Editor, API)
IMPORTANT: The DNS entries can only be edited via the customer view. WHMCS does not provide the option of editing the DNS entries directly via the admin view. It should also be noted that the TTL must be set at at least 600 when you make an entry.
Domain-Import
If you have existing domains in reselling, you can import them into WHMCS with this module and thus manage all domains in one place.
No further settings are necessary or possible here. You can start the import in WHMCS via Addons.
DNS
If you “only” use our DNS service, this module will help you. This allows you to edit the DNS entries via WHMCS or your customer accounts.
Once you have installed the module, you can link it via the settings:
- Settings
- Configuration
- Addon modules
- Activate hosttech DNS Manager
- Enter username and password (IMPORTANT: these are domain reselling access data)

Instructions for the installation:
The following applies to all modules: Download and install on the server. In the respective .zip file there is a file with the name “INSTALL.txt”, which describes the location for the installation.
The modules are WHMCS 8 and PHP 8.1 compatible.
Please note that we offer limited support for WHMCS. WHCMS itself has many setting options and is very extensive in its functions.
