The transfer is just changing the registrar of your domain name. A transfer does not automatically transfer your website and/or emails to our servers.
For a domain transfer you need an AuthCode (transfer code). This is a security code for the transfer, which you should request from your current registrar. The AuthCode is mandatory for the transfer.
Are you a new customer?
You can initiate the transfer order directly on our website under Domains . To do this, enter your domain name in the search field, click on transfer and enter your customer data. You will then receive all further information and the prompt to enter the AuthCode in a separate email. After depositing the AuthCode, we initiate the transfer process, which can take up to 5 days depending on the domain ending. After the domain transfer has been completed, we will inform you again.
Are you already a hosttech customer?
Then you can trigger the domain transfer via your myhosttech customer center. To do this, please log into your customer center, go to the Domains section and select Domaincenter . Enter the domain name to be transferred in the search field and then click on “Check”. Now you can initiate the transfer for the domain and you will then receive all further information and the prompt to enter the AuthCode in a separate email.
Do you have a domain resell?
Please log into your myhosttech customer center and go to the Domain reselling section. From there, click on Domains in the menu on the left and select Transfer . Now you can use the New Transfer button to enter the desired domain and the associated AuthCode. The order will be added to your shopping cart and you can then place it as you wish.
