Depending on whether you have the Confixx or Plesk Control Panel, the procedure is different.
In both cases, you must first log into the control panel.
Confixx
After you have logged in, you can click on “Change password” under “Settings > MySQL” at the top. Enter the new password twice.
You will then be shown at the top whether the change was successful.
Note that it can take up to 20 minutes for the new password to take effect.
The username cannot be changed and is always your web user webXXX (e.g. web123).

Plesk
After you have logged in, you can click on “Databases” on the left.
Then select the subscription to which it applies. You will now be shown the databases that are connected to this domain.
Under each database you can see the users of that database. Click on the user you want to edit. You can now change both the username and the password.
