If a domain extension cannot be carried out due to insufficient credit or an unintentional deletion and the registration period of the domain has already expired, the domain enters the so-called Redemption Grace Period (RGP). This grace period protects domain owners from accidentally losing their domain and offers the opportunity to restore the domain.
Please proceed as follows:
- log into the myhosttech customer center and click on domain reselling
- check whether there is enough credit or top it up if not
- then go to Domains and select Restore Domain
- now you can have the deleted domain restored
It may take 1-2 hours for the domain to be available again for reselling. In addition, the registry charges a restore fee for the restoration. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided/waived.
